Abbas-Mastan are a 'director duo' of Bollywood. Bollywood has had a string of music director duos but this is the first duo directing a film.
They have had a fair measure of success notching up hits like Khiladi, Baazigar, Ajnabee, 36 Chinatown and Humraaz among others.
They can be said to have made significant contributions to the careers of Shahrukh Khan as well as Akshay Kumar, two of the top actors in Bollywood today. Other Abbas-Mastan regulars include Johnny Lever and they have also worked on more than one occasion with Bobby Deol, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Akshay Khanna
Abbas-Mastan movies are characterized by their fast-pace and the 'right mix' of comedy, action and suspense.
