Bangalore Film Society is a forum of individuals attempting to evolve newer perspectives for film appreciation through exploring the cultural politics and how it impact and shape the modern cultural practices, politics, aesthetic sensibilities and social behavior. Over the last 27 years, BFS has brought to Bangalore the works of Masters of world cinema as well as curated documentary, short and feature films festivals/seminars focusing on contemporary socio-cultural-political issues. It is a democratic, pro-active forum with roots entrenched in cinema.
